Growing in Unity Day Five

 Hello, hello. 

Well my last day for being the Growing in Unity creator has arrived. As I like patterns I figured I needed to have a card today. I pulled out KOTM Unexpected Places and used the coffee stamp and text. I also used the doily/mandala and stamped it on the background patterned paper for some added extra. I actually stamped two of the coffee cups and then fussy cut one of the cups and mounted it for some extra dimension.

I coloured in the cups using some of my Twinkling H2Os.

Growing in Unity Day Four

 Hello, hello. Welcome to my second last day. Gee the week has gone fast but I have enjoyed sharing my creations with you all.

For today's share I have another art journal page. This one is different from Tuesday's especially considering it is on a burlap page in my Dina Wakley media journal.

I used the Ellie Girl stamp set for this page, stamping the text on the background as well. I coloured her in with some of Inktense pencils and added a few embellishments and scraps of patterned paper from my stash.

Growing in Unity Day Three

 Hello, hello. 

Welcome to my little part of the crafting world. 

Today, I have a card to share with you.

First, I coloured the background with Distress Oxide Inks and then removed some of the colour with a baby wipe and a stencil. Using black ink, I stamped the Flowers From Neverland across the bottom of the card. I randomly coloured some of the flowers in using felt markers. I stamped and embossed the 'Happy Birthday' phrase from the All About You Sentiment Kit from May 2014. Then I stamped the butterflies from the Moment by Moment set onto the card and then onto some white card stock. I coloured the butterflies in and then fussy cut them out and stuck them on top of the stamped images on the card. Then I drew in some flight lines for the butterflies and added some white splatters and called the card done!

Growing in Unity Day 2

Hello, hello.

For today's creation I pulled out a brand new art journal and created this page.

 I used a few different stamp sets. First I used March Florals to stamp the flowers which I coloured with paint. I used a SMAK kit from July 2012 for the background texture and the 'i love my life' title. Some gems, patterned paper and some hearts finished it off.

Growing In Unity Day 1

 Hello, hello, hello!

After fighting my way through the cobwebs of the internet I found my blog and am posting for the first time in years! I am the Growing in Unity creator this week so I thought I would post here.

My first creation for the week is this simple card:

I used the Hello My Friend Itty Bitty stamp, some inking for the background over an embossed piece of card plus some scraps of patterned paper which resulted in this card.

I hope you enjoy looking at my creations this week and find something to spark some joy.
